• About SpartanUI was originally designed to free your screen by moving a majority of the interface elements to the bottom. While that is still the core focus of the primary addon and configuration it has become much more over the last year. With 3.3.X Spartan UI Has started on a path to become completely modular so that you, the user can use only the pieces you want and give you the complete control over your UI. Starting with SpartanUI 4.X.X SpartanUI will have a fully themeable system giving you multiple looks and styles. While this is partially in place and supported in the current 3.3.X Builds it is still in its infancy and as such I am holding it back so that i can have the system fully flushed out. We all hate buggy and rocky launches. As part of the new theme system you can even make your own styles and themes as separate add ons. The Core Spartan UI themes use Bartender4 to manage the bars, as other start to make their own themes I hope that I can come to support many other bar systems. As part of the move to being modular in design you can now disable the components you don't want to use and truly make it your UI. Modules:

    • Artwork (Bar layouts are managed by the Artwork Style you select)
    • Player Frames
    • Party Frames
    • Raid Frames
    • Spin Cam
    • Film Effects

    *Curse Installer will auto download Bartender4* What's to come Well Spartan UI 3.x.x has had a good 2 year run it brought a whole new options system (Good bye 100+ slash commands!), revamped Party Frames, introduced Raid Frames, caught the player frames up from the days of Burning Crusade. Almost all of the code has been changed since the days of SUI 2.6 between the inclusion of the Ace3 Libraries, restructuring the database, rebuilding options, profiles (When they work, it will get better I promise). Possibly most importantly 3.x.x has laid the ground work to make SpartanUI completely modular so you can run and use only the parts you want. That brings me to the future of SpartanUI, With the last feature update for 3.x.x I have moved options out of the Blizzard UI and into their own window. The reason for this is simple I hate you all (kidding! With the changes to come in 4.x I wanted to get people used to /sui to get to the options again. As with the new Theme System there are going to be a ton of new options. With this work has already begun to get all of the not working or never fully utilized ones removed, finished, or more useful. All of the options will again me moving around (inside their respective tabs) On the topic of new options every theme will have its own set of options, and you can mix and match themes to your content this means the options UI needs to be VERY robust to on the fly changes and we need all the room we can get. So what is the end goal of 4.x and the style/theme system? To minimize the reason to use other addons of course! To give you as much choice and customization as possible. For example I don't want to give you a reason to use another unit frame add on there is no SUI cannot give you the same options. Why load 2 addons when all you need is 1?

    • Bartender is causing my mouse to stop working on 1 toon (my other 11 toons work fine). Really odd problem. Have uninstalled, reinstalled. Nothing seems to work... any suggestions welcome!     FIXED  
    • Hello! I have absolutely been loving my transition over to Spartan UI. However, the rectangle mini-map appears everytime that I attempt a pet battle and it covers what the weather of the battle is, which is extremely valuable to know. Also, I was wondering if there was anyway to swap the positions of actionbars 1 and 2 without me making them look awful? As it is now my pet battle keybinds are not what they used to be, but I do not wish to change what my combat bars currently look like. Thank you!   P.S. I am currently using version 4.4.5
    • I have done some more fiddling, and fixed the issue by resetting the action bars under the general settings/ bartender 4. However, I am now slowly going insane as I cannot remember or figure out how to disable the pop up animations for the bag/pet bars. any help on that would be appreciated. thank you  
    • have an issue where bartender bars/buttomns are actually not lining up with the Spartan UI, first occurred when I rolled a new allied race (nightborn) so I removed the LUA for Spartan and bartender and re-installed new from curse with latest versions of both, but now the issue has spread to all my characters on the fresh install. any suggestion. Spartan ui 4.4 bartender 4.7.10
