    Loss of Mouse Control after Teleporting

    With Spartan Core enabled, after hearthing or teleporting, I am no longer able to control movement of my character with my left or right mouse buttons.  I am no longer able to click on any buttons in my UI (bars,stances, etc).  Keyboard control still works fully, along with hotkeys for skills.  Pressing ESC brings up the menu and the mouse is able to click on the main menu.  /reload (/console reloadui) fixes the problem temporarily until I teleport again.  

    When disabling Spartan Core, this problem doesn't happen.  This problem began occurring with the first of the last three updates and has persisted since.  I like the new look and transparent options, but now I wish I hadn't upgraded.  I searched the forum for this problem and it appears no one else has reported it.

    I have deleted my Spartan UI settings under the WTF folder, but this problem still persists.  I believe this problem began in r226.

    No error dialogs were associated with this problem.

    Do you use film effects? Try disabling that. Nothing else in SparanUI should be making a frame that could cause something like this.

    Still happens, i only use artwork from spartanUI the rest is disabled and still it happens to me, i cannot turn around the camera and i cannot click anything,
    like the other post said, i have to use 3.3.4 :(

    Ok, one last thing to help narrow it down. Try changing to the Minimal or Transparent style. if it still happens on those then disable SpartanUI Artwork leaving only SpartanUI Core enabled and see if it happens.

    I tested with the minimal, transparent style and it happens. Leaving only spartanUI core it happens as well. 
    I really dont know what is wrong, or if there is any kind of dead short between other addons, im getting crazy coz the update is really amazing but i have to play with the 3.3.4 :'(!!!!!

    OH,  when the issue happens hit enter type /framestack into chat, this will tell you what frames are under your mouse, take a screenshot and upload that for me that should tell me what the issue is if its frame related.

    Yes, I use MoveAnything v15.2.2.  

    When disabling MoveAnything, I am able to teleport and hearth successfully without my mouse movement being blocked.  Disabling SpartanUI Core with MoveAnything enabled ALSO eliminates the problem.  Appears to be an issue caused between the two addons.  I haven't updated MoveAnything since 9/8/2015 and the bug was definitely revealed with a SpartanUI update.

    Thanks for letting me know this workaround.  I may not have to roll back versions.  This is definitely having a negative impact, though.  Good luck figuring it out!

    Are there any SpartanUI items you move with moveanything? I just installed move anything and am not able to duplicate the issue.

    I think that you might be on the right track with that question.  I zipped up both my settings files under: "WTF\Account\<account name>\SavedVariables".  They are served at the links below.  You can replace your settings to see if you can reproduce.  In WOW, make sure both MoveAnything AND SpartanUI Components are enabled.  Extract these two files and put the files into your SavedVariables folder.  Verify that they were written correctly.  Log into WOW.  Step through a teleport, including any mage tower portals, at garrison or use your garrison hearthstone from a different zone like Tanaan Jungle and you should be unable to move your character or spin your camera with the mouse.   I appreciate you looking into this.

    After doing the /framestack command i noticed when we going throu a portal the frams oUF_PetBattleFrameHider is on top of all screens. This happens when i use the new SUI b r233, after a /reload its gone. Also when i use an older version of spartan its not happening....

    In addition i have ovelookt the probklems with choises, and i discovert when i eneble the "Minimap" module in the general tab > Enabled Modules, then this pornlem occurs, when i dusable this i can move on after taking portals and hardstones. Maybe this info helps yo more to narrow search for this issue

    Perfect! i looked through all the code and removed some code that was no longer needed and tweaked a few other things. let me know if the latest alpha is better for you.

     

    as per the ouf frame, i also have the frame but i do not experience the issue.

    after a full reiinstall (un-install in cures and remove user settings) and installing the Alpha r238 the portal / hardstone and targeting issue is gone... its working as intended...

    However the standard minimap icons (worldmap/garrison report, dunfeon icoons and  the calender icoon) are disappearing behind the artwork now (clasic)... However i dont know if its the blame to spartan i cant tell therefore i need to reinstall all addons, but i can sellect an click them as the seams existing on the upper layer, even tooltips are showing when i hover over the locations where they sould be.

    Friendly i will ask you if you can check this out to be sure its not on your hand :) (or if yo know an solution to show them correctly then tell me please :))

    After installing Alpha R239, the mini map icons are on the upper layer and visible again, the erros as called above i did not see when i moved an other mini map app icon. When switching profiles i see some errors, i will make a new report when i have more time for that..

    Th things otherwise works perfect again... (movement and targeting after portals and hardstones)

    Ive been having this issue for awhile.

    have updated all mods regularly.

    i see an above comment says to remove user settings, to wilder folder or file is this referring ?
